Meet Teletraan 1

Well, actually first off, Merry Christmas or whatever-you-celebrate-mas. Hope yours was awesome as ever.

Secondly, meet my new PC, which I named Teletraan 1. Yeah you can probably tell I'm an old school Transformers fan. Would you like to see it?? Of course you would!

We'll start with a look from the front, and an angle, where you can also see my subwoofer from my new Logitech 5.1 speaker system. (Click images to see full size)



And here's some shots of my new 23" LED monitor and some of my 5.1 speakers, and my stereo speakers. They're all hooked up to my PC. It sounds amazing.

NVIDIA 9600GT (Which I took out from my older PC)

4GB of RAM (I plan to buy another 4GB later on)

All up it cost me $1200 for the PC, $350 for the monitor and $89 for the speaker system. Needless to say I am very happy with my investment, and this is what I will be making future videos on, so I'll probably start uploading videos of higher resolution from this point forward. I really look forward to kicking off my video work on it.

Date Goes Up.

Well first up, utter disappointment. When I finally got around to constructing a portal to the Nether in Minecraft, it was great. Now then I thought, what if I used the Obsidian to build a portal shaped like a Stargate? Tried it, but it doesn't work :( *le sad*

A couple of days ago, I got Minecraft, and I am addicted. It's immense amounts of fun for what it is. The retro graphics of it are quite funky as well.
And now I shall give you a gallery of what I've done so far.

Updates on updatables.

So updates are necessary, or I am bored.
Either way, so the past couple of weeks have been rather eventful, but I wont go into detail, just a lot of shit I've had to take in within such a short time.
So I've completely finished my course, which is awesome, it means I have an extra day to relax and drink coffee. But also that means I need to start finding a job, which for a graduate, is harder than going to Chernobyl and not getting radiation poisoning. But I've got my resume up to date which is nice, so I'm going to start hunting like crazy, and hopefully land a job with way better pay than my current job. Woo!
And more money = better computer which means I can continue other projects I have in mind which my current system is too shitty to handle. My desktop is decaying to the point where I worry about how much longer it has left to live, but however I shall continue to preserve it until I can afford to have it die. But yeah.
Moving on to other updates.

Parker's Mind:
Still waiting for voice work, and I need to play around in Sins of a Solar Empire to see how I can use it to fill a couple of scenes, but I've pretty much got down what I want to happen for the first episode, and the fact that YouTube has increased the time limit to 15 minutes makes everything better. So that'll be done sometime before this year is over.

Nuketopia:
Despite a long period with no updates, I'm going to keep doing this, because it's really fun and something different for me to do. Though if anyone knows of any really good posing mods for Fallout 3 (preferably not overly sexual ones) then let me know. I'm just trying to think of where to go from the last page. I'll try and get some more out in the next week. And no, I won't be switching to Fallout New Vegas for it, though I am going to obtain it ASAP because it looks frackin' awesome and I really want to play it.

Out of Our Minds:
I still haven't edited episode 11. But it's coming.

Dave, The Crazy Scientist:
I think I'll continue with doing it in Garry's Mod but I will find a way to incorporate dialogue sneakily without using bobbling heads and without having to use Source SDK Faceposer. I want to put out another episode sometime soon, as it is long over due. Does anyone know of any GMOD addons that I can use for dialogue? It doesn't need lip synching, just some way of looking like they're talking.

Psymonic Disasterpiece:
Give me four cans of Red Bull or a ridiculously strong coffee and some time alone with Garry's Mod and I'll produce another one of these.

And holy crap, GMAN squad was hilarious. I just watched it and I was laughing the whole way through. I particularly liked the line from Clyde which said "and I don't know what her name is, back in my day, women didn't have names!" Watch it if you haven't already.
I'm also going to start watching Dexter. Cyh and Ian will be pleased to hear that haha.
But for now, I must go, my friend needs assistance with a few things.

Seriously what the fuck?! As if he isn't annoying enough being played on the radio all the time, now he's going to be infesting the shelves of our toy stores. I think I have almost lost all faith in humanity. You can even preorder them. Wow... Just... Wow.
Although, at least now Robot Chicken have something they can use in the next season. I'd love to see what they'd do to him.

The GMOD Adventures of Jared and Simon

Once upon a time, in a GMOD map far far away. Two good citizens got together and hilarity ensued.

So Simon was walking down the streets of GM_BigCity to find that Jared had impaled Dave the Crazy Scientist multiple times to a wall.


So then they decided to have their picture taken with this bloody mess.


Then Simon built a catapult on top of a large building, in hopes that he might fling a car right at Jared.


Instead, they decided it'd be more fun to beat Alyx senseless.


And then fling a few innocents as far as they can.



And then Simon beat Jared to a pulp, and they all lived happily ever after... Jared however spent several weeks in hospital recovering from various broken bones and body parts.

Parker's Mind: Episode 21 - Season Finale

It's here! Season 1 has ended! This is the final episode. I got a bit lazy and left a blank screen for a small section, kinda like what Ian did for his finale in the part where they were driving to the air port.
To be honest, I'm quite nervous about this one. It's probably irrational... Meh.
So this episode isn't as epic as I had initially planned, but this is because I decided I wanted to leave a lot of it for the pilot episode of season 2. I figured it's better to introduce season 2 with a good long episode, rather than finish season 1 with one. Because this episode isn't the grand finale, I didn't feel the need to make it so grand.
So I hope you all enjoy it. And I shall see you next season!

Now, I will need a couple of voice actors for the pilot episode of season 2.
First up: Mr. Vicente, if you are reading this, I need you! The scary engineer who spoke through the robot is making a comeback. Perhaps I should just email him... Oh well.
And I probably need a couple of others, but details will come when I have actually written it.

That's right. It's nearly complete. I've done the dialogue, and I just need to draw up a couple of still frames for parts that I can't get through Red Faction. I've also added a few bloopers after the ending credits so that should be quite fun. So it should be done within a couple of days or so.

Parker's Mind has officially been running for one year today! The first episode was rendered and released on YouTube on the 25th of August 2009. One year and 20 episodes later, Parker's Mind's first season is coming to a close, with the next episode being the final.
And once the episode is done, I shall begin writing the pilot episode for season two and get that up and running.
But for now, let us celebrate!

Parker's Mind: Episode 20 - If You Die, I'll Kill You

Wow, already at 20 episodes eh? This marks the point where I'll have to get off my arse and actually start writing the finale, as I am one or two episodes away from that point. Isn't that exciting!

Twihard Virus Uncontainable, says Health Officials

The outbreak of 2008's Twihard virus has spiraled out of control, says health officials around the globe. They are now claiming a global epidemic, and countries around the world have gone into a state of emergency. The virus, believed to have started at the premiere of Twilight, has spread to all continents around the globe, causing symptoms such as insanity, over obsessiveness, and gaining unrealistic expectations of male romantic behavior. It currently has no known cure. Infected are often seen running around, screaming things like "TEAM EDWARD" or "TEAM JAKOB," and crying whenever they see Edward kiss Bella during the movie. There are however, people who are naturally immune to this virus, but immunity does not appear to be related to genetics, age, or even gender. It is not known how this virus is spread. This outbreak has forced people who are immune to retreat to anti-Twihard bunkers, which have been built all over the world. One such immune had this to say.
"Seriously, the premiere to Eclipse was almost like playing Left 4 Dead. They were just running around mindlessly, screaming! I had actually thought the zombie apocalypse had begun, and I was ready to start shooting infected."
The World Health Organisation (WHO) are currently pushing pharmaceutical companies to collaborate in an effort to develop a cure, and a vaccine for this plague. None of the pharmaceutical companies were available to comment at this time.

Dave, The Crazy Scientist... Using the Sims 3?

While looking around Youtube, I suddenly realized I have an untapped wealth of machinima potential using The Sims 3 as a base for animating it.
So I went along, had a little play around, and tried to recreate some of the characters using it. Here's what I got.

And I have created a couple of other characters that could be useful, but I won't screenshot them yet. But anywho, I am half way with Barry's Secret lab. Though I will probably have to download some more objects for it, and I haven't yet built Dave a house, but I will get there soon. And tomorrow I will have a play around to see how I can animate certain things.

Now my question to you guys is, has anyone of you attempted a machinima using a Sims game? If so, how was it? Keen to share? I am quite curious.

Because yesterday's post was so depressing, I've decided to post something Parker's Mind related.
You have questions, and I have answers. And all the regular ones should be answered here.
LET US BEGIN!

Q: What game is this?
A: Yes, I still get occasionally asked this! BLARGH! So yeah, the game is Red Faction... The first one.

Q: Will you be doing Red Faction 2, or RF: Guerilla?
A: Probably not, I don't own either game. Maybe I might play them later, but I doubt I will turn them into a mind series.

Q: OMG! Is the series over now?!
A: NO! If it was, I'd announce it here! Still got a few episodes yet.

Q: When's the next episode?
A: When it is done. Now PLEASE do not ask again!

Q: What are you going to do when Parker's Mind is over?
A: I am planning to do season 2 of Parker's Mind, using Unreal 1. Do not ask about it yet, as details are very sketchy, and very early in the planning phase. It's going to be quite tricky to transition between the seasons, so if you ask for details, the only answer you're going to get at this stage is I don't know.

Q: What tools do you use to make Parker's Mind?
A: I use FRAPS for footage, Audacity for audio and Adobe Premiere for editing, and the title card was drawn in Flash.

Q: Please add me as a friend!
A: No. Why isn't subscribing enough? It's great that you like my work, but my friend list is reserved for people I am actually friends with and who I actually talk to.

Q: I want to make my own mind series, any tips?
A: Firstly, if your voice hasn't broken yet, don't do it. Wait until you actually sound old enough to voice your character. Otherwise you're opening yourself up to being badly flamed. Secondly, be original. References are fine, but you have to come up with your own jokes or you're just going to end up a cheap knockoff of someone else's work. People don't want another Dr. Freeman in a different world. Lastly, be creative. Think outside the box. This makes your series more interesting. The rest you can work out on your own. Oh yeah, one last thing: NO MORE MALE CHELL'S MIND! Seriously! Besides, we already have a really good Chell's mind in the making which is actually done by a girl.

Q: Wait... Isn't Ultor from Saints Row 2?!
A: Yes, they are indeed, but Red Faction came quite a bit before Saints Row 2, and it's by the same developer.

Q: How come Parker talks under water?
A: Because his enviro-suit is environmentally sealed. If you remember, Mars has a thin atmosphere of carbon dioxide so everyone walks around in enviro-suits which are air, and water tight.

Q: Howcome you got Red Faction to look good on your system? It looks all distorted on mine!
A: You need to download the Pure Faction patch to run it on a modern system. Alternatively, you can get it from Steam.

Q: Are you an Atheist? If so, why?
A: Yes I am. As to why, I do not see why that is such a big deal. None of the religions make any logical sense to me. If there's a God, why would his bible be filled with so many holes and contradictions? If there is one true god, why are there so many different religions? Why are there so many different ways of believing in him? It says "Thou shalt not worship any god before me." But why does it need to say that? If he is the only God then that statement would be unnecessary. How come God didn't exist during the regime of ancient Greece? Or ancient Egypt? They had their own Gods, long before Christianity, Islam or Judaism were ever dreamed up. I have yet to see any proof that any of the religions are true. And also, I am quite happy not believing. So to all those that think one needs a god to be happy, and to have good morals, you're wrong. I am very happy, and one of the nicest people you'll know. I have strong moral values, and I do not need a god to have them. I don't see how anyone could truly believe that an Atheist can't possibly have morals.
Again, why is it a big deal that I am Atheist? Who cares?! I believe what I believe, you believe what you believe. I don't go forcing my beliefs on people. I go about my daily life like anyone else.
Answer me this, why is it, that it's such a huge deal when someone is an Atheist, but not when they're a Christian, Muslim, Jew or whatever?

Parker's Mind: Episode 19 - Operation: Doing Whatever it is I am Supposed to be Doing

New episode! Almost at episode 20 now. And sadly, almost at the end of the game. Next month on the 25th marks one year of Parker's Mind. Pretty exciting huh? I thought so too.
Here it is!

The BP Scandal Continues!

So not only have BP spilt incredible amounts of oil, and then photoshopped their photos, they've also been caught doing things instead of fixing the problem! And we have photographic proof right here!

So, y'know, these two helicopter pilots were tasked with flying up and photographing the carnage. Of course, these two slackers decided that they'd go blow up a Death Star instead. Helping to clean up oil spills are much more important than firing torpedoes into a small thermal exhaust port that is only two meters wide, and saving Yavin from destruction!


To make things worse, they decided that after destroying the Death Star, the planet of Caprica needed leveling. So not only has BP caused severe pollution, they've also put hundreds and thousands of innocent Cylons out of work! This is unacceptable!
One Cylon had this to say. "It's hard enough making a living, and putting food on the table without BP coming in and ruining it for us. Caprica was going to be my big final pay, which would set me up for retirement, but I now have to work in a grocery store to make ends meet!"


Next thing you know, they were teaming up with the Turanic Raiders and harassing the Hiigaran fleet, when all they were trying to do is return to their homeworld.


You'd think after all that, they'd go and actually do their job, but no, instead they return to their base camp to spend hours on Facebook, and have games of Counter-Strike. Can BP sink any lower?


I hope these people realize that their actions were all caught on camera, and that they recieve a severe penalty for what they have done. Think of those Cylons!

Parker's Mind: Episode 18 - Parkers in Space

New episode! It seems I broke my little trend of releasing episodes very quickly. I did say don't get used to it... Didn't I?
Anyway, it's set in space. Parker has to shut down the laser satellite network which is controlled by an orbital space station. Full of fun and adventure and David Bowie references.

I am going to attempt to make episode 19 with Kdenlive, a video editor for linux, as I have Ubuntu on my laptop, and I have been amping to give it a try.

An update.

No, I have not stopped Parker's Mind. The series is far from over. I have the next episode in the works. I am in the process of cutting the loading screens and then doing dialogue. I won't yet give an estimation as to when it will be done, as I am not sure. Let me just say the last few weeks have been very stressful in pretty much every aspect of life, especially for study. I am revising for the final exam of my course which will allow me to graduate and search for a proper IT job, as well as other things going on, so I haven't had much time to do the episode, and when I have, I haven't felt like doing it. I have not lost interest, far from it.
Also I'm going to try source recorder, even though Curtis bitches to hell about it, because if it can deliver smoother framerates than FRAPS, I'll also make another Psymonic Disasterpiece, as I got Garry's Mod working again. And I also need to get on the drawing boards for a new Dave, The Crazy Scientist episode.
But for now, back to study.

UPDATE: I have a quarter of the dialogue recorded.

2009 A True Story

I came across this quite awhile ago. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this series. It is incredibly creative and well put together, and very captivating. They have announced a second series of this, so hopefully that will come out soon. I found this series very inspiring.

The PC is working again, it turns out a few cards needed reseating, so everything is AOK again. That is a massive relief.

Parker's Mind Suspended Until Further Notice.

That's right, I dreaded the time that I'd be writing a post like this, but I won't be making any more episodes for awhile. The reason is: My computer is fucked. Possibly a screwed motherboard. Either way, this really REALLY sucks big time. I currently am using a laptop which isn't top of the line. I might see how it runs Red Faction with FRAPS and make episode 18 on this, but that depends. So in the mean time, sorry guys, you're going to be waiting for awhile. Sucks, I know, and I wish this wasn't happening. Hope is not lost though, as I am working on trying to get new hardware. In the mean time, it looks like Chell and Felix will have to keep you entertained.

All Garry's Mod Productions Suspended Until Further Notice.

This is because for some annoying reason, Garry's Mod has suddenly stopped working. I have no idea why, I haven't installed any mods lately, or anything at all. When I open it, I just get a black screen, which has to be terminated using Task Manager. This really sucks because I was really amped to make another Psymonic Disasterpiece episode.
However, I am currently working on restoring my Windows XP installation, as I have installed one of my old hard drives which I decommissioned awhile ago, which I can use to install XP on. But until then, there's nothing Garry's Mod related that I can do.

Parker's Mind: Episode 17 - Almost a Cop-Out

Yet another new episode, made with loads of cups of tea, and Red Faction and Garry's Mod. I am ridiculously close to the end now. Probably like two or three more episodes before the finale. I need to hurry up and get writing this finale.

I find it very annoying. That is all.

Accidents happen...

...But when they happen on the way to work, it's not good! So I was riding to work, normal as, came across a sudden red light, hit the brakes, and BAM! Front wheel slid on a big manhole cover and I came right off and slid down the road for about 20 meters. So now I have a sprained thumb that is killing me, and multiple bruises and grazes down my left leg and I'm limping like an old man who lost his walking stick. My bike on the other hand, has only a few scratches, a bent handle bar and the chain came off, which is all easily fixable, thank goodness. I'm just so glad I didn't hit anyone when I came off, as I think the pedestrian crossing had just gone green as I slid off, so it could have been much worse, and I'd be sitting in a police station, rather than my parents' place, and we'd have someone more injured than I, which I'd rather not have.
What surprised me was the kindness of the general public. I think I had about 5-6 people help me when they saw what happened, which was unexpected because I'm used to the idea that people operate on the "Someone else will do it" mind set. They were very kind, called the ambulance just in case, helped me and my bike up, rung my work for me, and gave me a glass of water and a chair until Dad could come and get me.
My bike is still sitting in town. We wheeled it to the nearest motorcycle park, and dad will fix the chain and ride it back home for me when he is done with work, so hopefully I'll be back on the road tomorrow.
I hate manhole covers... They're god damn dangerous if you don't see them! They should be covered with some non-slip material so that things like this don't happen.

Parker's Mind: Episode 16 - They're Not Screwing Around

Episode 16 is ready to go! In this episode, we start to see a side of Parker that was once thought to not be there, a rather caring side, he actually does care about the miners lost in this rebellion, and the side of him slowly losing hope. This episode is a little more serious than the others, as Parker realizes the Mercs are actually trained fighters, and really know what they are doing. I'm very happy with this one, and hope you all will be too.

Parker's Mind: Epuisode 15 - Nice Guy, With Attitude

We have a new episode! HOORAH! I'm actually quite pleased with this episode. One of those episodes where a shit load of not much happens, but I somehow make it interesting. Next episode is going to be a good'un too. Can't wait to get it done.

Good News

Good news! I am returning home tomorrow.
The funeral was sad, but catching up with relatives I hardly see is quite cool, and I had a few beers with them.
Auckland sucks! Seriously, there's almost nowhere to get a decent coffee around here! At least there doesn't seem to be many bees. Still, I have been under-caffeinated all weekend, and this is unacceptable. This city is an over-sized tangle of roads and other bollocks and it's impossible to navigate. I can't wait to get home.
Anyway, I am quite eager to get onto the next episode, so hopefully I will start that when I get home.

EDIT: Actually, looks like we're staying with my grandparents for an extra day, because Dad isn't up to driving tomorrow. Bugger.

Tomorrow, I leave for Auckland, where the funeral for my Aunt will be held on Saturday. So I'll be disappearing until Monday, unless I find access to a computer.

Parker's Mind: Episode 14 - The Showdown of Good Versus Ugly

I return with another two-part episode. Wasn't originally going to be that long, but I got carried away, so we have this as a result. Ok so I've been pumping episodes out like crazy. Here's why. I'm so god damn bored at the moment. All my friends have exams coming up soon so they're all busy studying like crazy, so I can't hang with them. So apart from work, and some occasional study myself, I have next to nothing to do at the moment. It's pretty good for my wallet, though. If I keep up at this rate, the finale will be right around the corner. However I hope this won't be the case, as I want a fair bit of time to prepare for the finale, and if I go too quickly I won't get that time.

Well, so much for doing a Garry's Mod flick. I was home alone for most of the night, bored out of my mind (see what I did there?), and got onto episode 13. I honestly did not expect to have this episode done tonight, or within the next two weeks for that matter, but here it is. But don't think this quick release time is going to be a common thing, because it won't, although I will try and release episodes quicker. Actually, the last time I released an episode this quickly was when I released episode two.

Parker's Mind: Episode 12 - Monsters, Steam, And An Ugly Scientist

HUZZAH! A new episode! How long did it take this time? Less than a month to spit out this episode! Excellent! I originally thought this was going to be a boring episode to work on, but no, it was actually quite fun.

Parker's Mind: Episode 1 - 1920s Edition

I decided to do a remake of Episode One in the style of a 1920s silent film. Yeah, I was pretty bored, but it was a lot of fun to make.
I tried to keep everything as consistent to the real episode one as I could, but I have lost the original footage so I had to rerecord it so some parts are different to the original.

The reason I made this? I don't actually know. Parker's Mind, to me, is one big experiment. Every episode, I like to see what new things I can play with. I'm always thinking of new ideas that I can integrate into this series, and perhaps use in the future. After almost a year of working on this series, I think I've strayed away from my original influence. my influence is coming from all over the place. I think a lot. When I am at work, I'm always thinking about something. Often I am thinking of things I can do video wise. The inspiration is more me seeing how I can make this series my own, and I think I have succeeded in developing this series into something that is fresh. This video is just another result of my experimentation, and I am happy with the results, and I hope you all are too. I've watched back on my episodes, and it's quite cool seeing how it's developed from something n00bish to what it is now.

EDIT3: I think I can avoid this, I've decided to use audio from youtubers playing the songs I used, instead of the ones I downloaded earlier. I did not realize that one could claim possession of a recording of a song from the public domain.
EDIT4: I have reuploaded once again, this time, no matching content, so things are good now! Kinda gutted though, cos it had hit 350 views and someone left a really awesome comment. Oh well. Enjoy!

Parker's Mind: Episode 11 - Because He's THAT Ugly

After a long break, and an episode of Dave, The Crazy Scientist, I have finished and uploaded episode 11. You better like it! I had Corky nagging me and depriving me of coffee to get this done!

Dave, The Crazy Scientist: Progress

The first episode is coming along nicely. I'm just over half-way finished. I have high hopes for this, it's taking its time to come together but we're getting there. I hope to have it done... Sometime. And then after this I'll get onto Parker's Mind episode 11.

Funny Or Die

I have started an account on Funnyordie.com, as I am getting a little weary of Youtube and their copyright nazis. As some of you might know, hitlerrantsparodies on there has been having his videos blocked due to "Copyright Infringement." However, this is unfair, because these fall under Parody in copyright law. Therefore there is no reason for these to be removed, and no infringement. Also, the writer/director behind the movie Downfall is highly amused, and loves these Hitler parodies. Oh and let's not forget, without these parodies, a lot of people wouldn't know about Downfall.

I feel like Youtube, and other corporate bodies, are sticking their fingers where they do not belong, and quite frankly, I am sick of it. I have also had videos removed for "Copyright Infringement" when they were parodies. At this rate, we'll have Machinima videos being removed because they use games from companies like EA.

I will still upload Parker's Mind, and other videos I make to Youtube, but I will also be uploading them to Funnyordie.com. I've uploaded the prologue there and I will upload the rest of Parker's Mind slowly, and then Psymonic Disasterpiece.

This brings me to the next topic...
I am working on a new series called Dave, the Crazy Scientist (taken from Psymonic Disasterpiece). I'm using this as a sort of "Palette cleanser" (as Cyh puts it) to try and refresh my mind for new episodes of Parker's Mind. I chose to do this, as in Psymonic Disasterpiece, the Dave clips ended up being my favourites, and I want to see if I can make this into its own little series. So episode one should be ready in a week or so, and we'll see how it goes.

I'll also like to say, thanks to my loyal fans who have been epic and awesome, and the other Mind makers. You make this show go on. Without your support I would not be doing this.

It took six months, but finally someone got butthurt over me being non-religious, this being sparked from the little Jesus bit in episode 3. I am surprised it took this long... Here's the excerpt:

I have footage for episode 11, and a few lines done. Miraculous that I have started so soon after the release of episode 10, but I feel the need. So it'll be done... When it's done. I'm not going to make any promises yet.

Hot 'n' Dusty

What's more annoying than a small Youtube kid asking when the next episode is?
A PC that fucking dies all the time! Ok but it was my bad that it was dying. It was covered in dust, and getting too hot. Cleaned it up and now it's good again. Lesson from this is clean your PC! And release episodes faster! This way we can all be happy.

The Man Who Will be Gryphon

I have announced the winner to the Gryphon audition. Man it was hard deciding. Everyone who entered had their own spin on Gryphon which had me chuckling, however, he who shall be Gryphon is... Krimsin! A couple of other auditions were asked if they could do other roles I have in mind later in the series. I thank all who auditioned, and hope to perhaps work with these people sometime in the future?
With this said, once I have everything I need, I shall begin the episode. This will be a two part episode. The first part is getting Gryphon, the next part is their flight in the small fighter. I am quite excited!

Tomorrow I Head Home

That's right. Tomorrow is the day I pack up, go home, and go back to regular life. This means I'll be announcing who gets to be Gryphon, and spitting out a new episode for your viewing pleasure. Now please note, if you auditioned for Gryphon and you don't get the part, it's not because you sucked. The decision will be tough, but if you don't get Gryphon, I may need you later on in the series, as there are other characters that I feel may need voicing. This place called Auckland

I'm up in Auckland, staying with my brother... I really don't like this place. Looking at the road map, It looks like a bowl of spaghetti, 'cept I like spaghetti. This place has so many roads, and everything makes no sense. GRRR. I will be heading home in about 4 days though. Looking forward to 8 hours on a motorbike! (I'm serious, not sarcastic, long trips on motorbikes RULE!)
Oh yeah, and I miss Tauranga! (For those who don't know, Tauranga is one of the most amazing cities in New Zealand. It's beautiful, and if I play my cards right, my future city of residence in the next year or so. If you ever find yourself in New Zealand, I seriously suggest stopping there. Also, come by Wellington, where I live, and get a coffee with me!)

Parker's Mind and vacation

So I've been on vacation for a week now. Been having the time of my life. Plenty of beaches and sunburn to show for it.
As for Parker's Mind, I haven't forgotten, and auditions will be going until I return home and start the episode. But right now my main focus is rejuvenating from 3 or so years with no holiday at all. It feels bloody awesome! When I return, my refreshed mind will probably allow me to focus better on Parker's Mind. The next episode is coming!

Parker's Mind: Episode 8 - Snakes in a Box

The new episode is uploaded and ready to go! YAY! I put a lot of thought into this episode, and I think it turned out really well. I also have Mr. Riley from Barney's mind in here, as a random guard (He suited what I wanted the guard to say) so big thanks to him!

I can't believe I'm already finished number 8. It feels like not long ago where I was recording the footage to the first episode.

Next episode may not be for awhile. I am moving back to my parents' place in a few days, where I will reside for a couple of weeks or so, and I need to put loads of thought into the next episode, as it is the first cutscene, and where Gryphon get's captured. I'm still unsure as to what to do but I'm getting there. Maybe I'll do a comic strip with voice over to replace the cutscene... We'll see in due time
